Core Drilling
ConCore Diamond Drilling provides professional concrete and reinforced concrete, asphalt, masonry & blockwork core drilling services for residential, commercial and industrial projects.
We carry out clean, accurate penetrations for mechanical and electrical services, ventilation, drainage, sampling, structural access and many other core required holes/outlets. From 25mm to 640mm for single openings. Areas that require 650mm+ diameter openings are possible with stitch coring.
Using specialist diamond drilling equipment, we offer both wet and dry coring solutions with minimal vibration, reduced noise and controlled dust and slurry management, ensuring safe and precise results in all working environments.
GPR/Concrete Scanning
We provide ground penetrating radar (GPR) and concrete/rebar scanning to identify embedded services and reinforcement prior to drilling or cutting. The scans show detailed information up to approx. 12” / 300mm in depth.
Scanning allows safe detection of rebar, post-tension cables, conduits and slab thickness. Significantly reducing the risk of structural damage or service strikes. Our scanning services support safe decision-making on site and are suitable for refurbishment works, structural alterations and high-risk drilling environments.
Scans can be simple or complex. Immediate scan results available on site, there and then. Detailed reports for the more complex scans are also available.
Structural Investigation Support
ConCore offers practical structural investigation support through core sample extraction, non-destructive testing and site assessments. Services include rebar scanning, concrete and asphalt sample coring for compressive strength testing, density analysis, laboratory examination, visual condition, concrete breakouts for steel/rebar inspection, slab thickness, cold joint inspection and much more.
We work alongside engineers, consultants and contractors to assist with structural assessments of floors, slabs, walls, columns and pavements, providing reliable site data to support informed engineering decisions. Samples are tested at UKAS accredited lab.
